Diane Levin-Zamir
Ms. Levin-Zamir has over 20 years of health education experience. She is currently acting as the National Director of Health Education and Promotion Department at Clalit Health Services in Tel Aviv. Ms. Levin-Zamir teaches many courses regarding health promotion planning and health education at various universities and has been on the educational board of many health journals.
Michael L. Millenson
Mr. Millenson is the author of the critically acclaimed Demanding Medical Excellence: Doctors and Accountability in the Information Age (University of Chicago Press). He is both an independent consultant and the Mervin Shalowitz, MD Visiting Scholar at Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. From 1996 to 2001, Millenson was a principal in the health care consulting practice of William M. Mercer, Inc. From 1994 to 1996, he was a visiting scholar at Northwestern, where he wrote his book under an Investigator Award in Health Policy Research from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Prior to that, as a long-time reporter for the Chicago Tribune, Millenson was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize three times. Millenson is a member of the National Commission for Quality Long-term Care and on the editorial boards of the American Journal of Medical Quality and Quality and Safety in Health Care.
Gina Pugliese
Ms. Pugliese is currently the Vice President of the Safety Institute, Premier Inc., Chicago. She holds associate faculty appointments at the University of Illinois School of Public Health, Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics and Rush University College of Nursing, Chicago. Ms. Pugliese is on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Joint Commission Journal on Quality and Safety and is the Senior Associate Editor of Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology. She is the co-director of the international Healthcare Epidemiology Training Program that is co-sponsored by the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) and the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
John Rompon
Mr. Rompon is a Managing Partner of McNally Capital, an investment firm that addresses the private equity needs of family offices and high net worth investors. He is a technology executive who has founded and successfully sold a variety of healthcare, financial services and information technology companies. He was most recently CEO of Brigade Corporation, a private equity-backed company focused on acquiring and commercializing non-strategic operating assets from global Fortune 300 companies. He currently serves on a variety of corporate and philanthropic boards.
Deborah Schwarz-McGregor
Ms. Schwarz-McGregor has thirteen years of healthcare communications, marketing, media and public relations experience. During her eleven years of experience at Columbia Presbyterian Medical center, she acted as Director of Office of External Affairs, where she initiated working relationships with various internet entities and created and chaired a committee focused on education of the public regarding women’s health issues. Ms. Schwarz-McGregor has also held the positions of Director of Media and Program Development along with Physician Associate in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Deborah is involved in numerous societies, has authored various articles in healthcare publications and given a number of Cardiothoracic related lectures.
