Emmi Solutions is featured in the March 2011 issue of Scientific American. The article, “Uninformed Consent,” examines the troubled state of the informed consent process at many hospitals across the country then interviews leading healthcare executives pushing for improvement.
The piece singles out Emmi® programs as a patient-focused solution with proven results. In one case:
“A would-be litigant dropped her malpractice charge against Stanford when she was shown that her pattern of computer clicks confirmed that she had actually looked at a screen shot describing that complication four times and discussed it with her doctor.”
